He responded “I started with no money, I Didn’t Even Have Two Pennies To Rub Together. I really wasn’t a good student in school, Nothing Empowered me. I went to college for a couple of years but I only did that because That’s What You’re Supposed to do, and it was the most frustrating time in my life!”

“I worked in many different jobs as I was Trying to Figure out my way”

After getting a sense of How he got Started this important Question:

What was the biggest challenge when you made the decision of becoming a full time entrepreneur?

Entrepreneurs especially brand new entrepreneurs, have a really hard time enjoying the journey…

There is times when it’s challenging and really hard, but that’s part of the journey.

So what happens when I run into a challenge and I feel frustrated, devastated and a failure?

Paul: “When you run into a challenge, or maybe you are not getting the results that you want, you have to look back at where you were yesterday or a month ago or 6 months ago…

How far have you moved since you started this journey?

Then ENJOY and CELEBRATE those achievements!

On the same token, when you run into a wall…

The Universe (or whatever you want to believe in) is challenging you to see if you’re going to do what it takes to get passed that challenge.

Once you pass that challenge you will learn something And Then the BEST part, The Part that Most Entrepreneurs Miss:

“Once they learn from that challenge, they don’t teach it to anybody. You need to take that experience and then share it with the marketplace.”

Just like this:

Guy’s this is what happened to me: I was having such a hard time and I hit this wall, but I figured out how to do it…

Screen Shot 2016-01-14 at 10.09.56 PM

You share that with the marketplace and A Lot of People Will Relate to That Experience and therefore You Become more Attractive, because you’re Relatable.

That post got good amounts of sharing in Social Media…

I can understand now how helpful our experiences can be to other people (our failures or successes) “Isn’t that what a case study is?”

Paul: “Absolutely, Case Studies are a great way to get out there!

Ray Higdon is a blogging genius, he went from foreclosure to eight figures, it didn’t happen overnight for him, but the biggest thing that he says is:

“ILT Invest – Learn and Teach”

Invest in Yourself, in Your Knowledge and then what you learn from that knowledge you turn around and you Teach it to somebody else! It’s powerful…

What if I’m know a new and I don’t anything?

Paul: Yeah you do! You have a lot of information, a lot of knowledge that you can share with someone else that doesn’t know it.

Just remember this…

If You’re a Level 3 on a scale from 1-10 on any skill, Teach What You Know to a level 1, That’s how you Create a Market with People that will Listen to You.

How were you able to pay for all your bills when you became a Full Time Entrepreneur?

I worked a full time job while I was building my photography business!

I would take small amounts of money from each paycheck and invest it in whatever tools that I needed it to build my photography company.

Get Paul’s #1 tip on Time Management to Boost your Productivity on a Daily Basis…

At that time I did not have an advertising budget, the advertisement was my mouth, so I got out there and talked to people, I got out there and knocked on doors, I did everything I possibly could to get hired as a photographer.

It took me 3 years before I could go Full Time in my photography company.
I worked 7 days a week. I sacrificed a lot of time, and that’s what you have to do when you don’t have a lot of money, you don’t have many resources.

It’s so important that entrepreneurs find their passion because:

“Pain pushes you until Vision pulls you”

My pain was: I didn’t have my time/freedom to be with my family I didn’t have the money to do what I wanted when I wanted and so my pain pushed me.
Once I really had my passion, my vision naturally pulled me and I got to a point in my photography company where I could stop advertising and my phone just kept ringing.

What were the most important systems you put in place to grow the fastest as an entrepreneur?

You have to invest in the right tools:

Every business has certain tools, operational tools that you have to have to leverage your time.

#1 – Businesses are life blooded by people and talking to people, so one of the tools you have to have is a CRM (Customer Relations Manager) You need to track;

  • Who you’re talking to
  • What you said to that person
  • How to follow up with that person

#2 – You have to have a way to capture leads. (Landing Page)

Don’t know what tool to use? Clickfunnels Will Actually Integrate what a CRM and a WordPress do, all in one and a lot more User Friendly…

People do business with people who they know like and trust…

A lot of entrepreneurs have something they want to sell and they will take a lead and send them to a sales page, that is the wrong way!

Screen Shot 2016-01-14 at 10.36.10 PM

The better way to do it is to send a person to a video where you:

Introduce yourself

Let those people know what is the value you will share

Ask for their contact information

After that send them to a thank you page:

This is a company called FunnelExperts, who inform their leads with valuable content before they ask you to purchase anything!

What’s one habit that allowed you to be more disciplined?

First and foremost, my why, If You Know What Your Why Is, it Keeps you Disciplined.

Based on my why, I Write my Goals for 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and 3 years and then I Break those down to Daily Tasks and Weekly Tasks.

Check this sweet Goal Setting formula!

When entrepreneurs are starting out, the first thing to ask is “What is your why?”

A lot of people say “I want to make more money”

That’s Not Your Why, money is a byproduct of what you’re sharing in the marketplace.

“What’s your Bigger why?”

Go deeper down inside

Do you want to retire your spouse?

Do you want to be able to take care of your elderly parents?

Do you want to  send your kids to college?

Do you want to just be free from 9 to 5 so you can make a difference in your community?

Those are why’s!

Not “I want to make more money” or “I want to make $10,000 per month” because money comes and goes.

You need to go Deep Deep down Inside and Ask “What is it that You Want?”

That will give you discipline, on the days that you say…

“I just don’t want to go to work / I don’t want to do business / I don’t want to make a video today”

You just have to say: “Ok, let’s think about the why”

To cement The Why and Goals comes Mindset!

You wake up in the morning and the first thing anyone should ever do is listen to some kind of mindset or read something about mindset or watch a video about mindset to get your mind ready for the day.

Then you should do some kind of workout, so you get some blood pumping, even if you:

Walk the dog

Go for a run

Do some push ups in your living room

When you get that blood pumping, you get blood through your whole body and it creates oxygen and it releases endorphins in your mind.

Screen Shot 2016-01-14 at 11.28.50 PM

When you’re doing that workout, you’re thinking about your why and you start getting really connected with what it is that you want to do.

That will discipline you to go:

“Let me go to work now, let me go read my goals and I’m going to read my action plan for what I want to do”

Get Paul’s #1 tip on Time Management to Boost your Productivity on a Daily Basis…

Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat…

A lot of people focus on results, “We can’t control results” the only thing that we can control are our actions, so “if people focus more on their daily consistent actions… naturally you get results”

So many people say “Ohhhh I didn’t make a sale today” “Ohhh I need to make $10,000 a month today” You Can’t Control That!

And if you talk to a client and you Sooo badly want to get a sell from them? Then it’s the wrong reason.

Screen Shot 2016-01-14 at 11.34.18 PM

If you just go out there and serve people and you help people and you share with people with value, results will come.

Can you share with us what was one decision that made you catapult your success from level 1 to the next 5 levels!

It was a decision of making the decision to stay focused on what I wanted, you just have to decide and then “How to catapult?”

“Taking Consistent Massive Action!”

Ameer explains it very well…

If you don’t take action on a consistent basis, you’re going to stay where you are.

You also need to be willing to be open minded and to get out of your comfort zone, you have to do things that are uncomfortable, because nothing is going to change if you keep doing the same things over and over.

“If you do the same thing over and over and expect a different result, that’s the definition of insanity” Einstein

1- Consistent Action

2- Open to learning new things

3- Stepping out of that box

Catapulting seems like it’s an overnight thing, and it’s not! If people think that things are going to happen in 30, 60, 90 days they have another thing coming to them, because success doesn’t happen overnight.

But YOU WILL GET SUCCESS if you’re consistent, if you’re focused and you stick to one thing.

What a lot of entrepreneurs do this days is that “If they are not seeing success in 30, 60, 90 days or even a year, They Move on to the Next Shiny Object”

“That doesn’t ever work!”

People are like “Oh but this doesn’t really work”

“No, Every Program Out There Works! Every Opportunity Out There Works!”

“It’s you that doesn’t work.”

And people have a hard time looking themselves at the mirror and going: “You is not what’s working” That’s hard to swallow…

But if you can wrap your brain around working on yourself and whatever is that you’re doing, You can be widely successful at anything!
